Wheels On The Bus Go Round…

This entry I am starting with my 1 / 26 photo in the 26 Things Scavenger Hunt: ROUND.

Hobbit House

I was quite lucky. I wanted to take a photograph of this for a long while already. It is a Hobbit House in the middle of nowhere. Almost. That is what my fantasy wants it to be. In reality it is a barrel that is standing between an alcohol market and a carpentry. The perfect combination if you ask me, when it comes to the creations of Hobbit Houses. 😆

Today, I am incredibly frustrated. It started at some point in my mailround. This happens with unresolved things. At some point they come up and annoy the hell out of you. My mind is going in endless circles. I need to resolve this on Friday for my own good. Of course it has to do with my skin and the dermatology clinic at our local hospital. There is so much going wrong there and I feel I really deserve better, everyone does! You trust that you are in good hands when you are in a hospital when in reality you are really not. They are careless at times (too often: like handing out the wrong dosages of pills or none at all), are making medical errors (like taking blood for certain blood levels at noon when they should do that in the morning before the specific medication is taken). There is much more going wrong, very serious things that can potentially kill people (like I got a wrong IV bottle at one time). These things should not happen. I am always careful and notice these things. But most of the people in there are old or really sick and are not able to check their pills, their IVs and just plain trust. I will talk with the resident I think you are calling it in the US, if she is in that is. Just to resolve this for myself. Because it has been hunting me on and off and I really have more important things to deal with. Like Uni. *lala*

This was what went on today. I was busy with my head all day and because it is enough now, I am going to bed and turn on some audiobook I can get lost in. Hopefully. 😕 Please. New day, new luck tomorrow. 😯 // call me narcissistic, but I think this title is brilliant, it works on all levels of this entry

    OMG, those kinds of things happen?? I can’t BELIEVE that!! You’re so right, someone that’s old and very sick can’t be watching their caregivers like hawks to make sure they are giving the right dosages and medications–that’s the caregiver’s job! 😡 Good luck!

    That Hobbit House made my day!!! Oh, to have one near me (for me!)

    Horrible about the hospital…but sad to say it happens here too. I hope the resident will listen to what you tell her.

    New luck for the new day to you!

    Natürlich passieren Fehler – doch im KH geht das einfach nicht – finde ich richtig, wenn du das meldest!

    Da sollte man noch einen Hobbit vor die Türe stellen.

    Ich hoffe, du fühlst dich heute wieder besser ➡

    @Erin: Erin! âž¡

    @Lucy: Thank you Lucy! I have a thing for Hobbits in general, the first part of the first movie of The Lord Of The Rings, has always been one of my favourites. The little houses with smoke coming out, the veggies growing all over… harmony. Lovely.

    @Anu: Nein, das geht nicht. Aber es wird weiter so laufen. Das ist das Beängstigende. 😥

    Um ehrlich zu sein – doch da bin ich halt schon sehr pragmatisch – das ist überall so und es sterben erstaunlich wenig Menschen – man sagt ja nicht umsonst, wenn einer im KH war ist er sicher krank hinterher.

    Versteh mich nicht falsch – ich finde es trotzdem richtig, wenn man was sagt.
