Vacation week 2 started with a long day in the womens clinic. Had I only known… the doctor sold it quite good. It ended up not being that pleasant, but I had worse I guess. Womens clinic is a thing all in itself and cant be compared to any other ward really. My obgyn was so nice though, I had extra special treatment and was taken care of extremely well. He managed it all and I cant thank him enough for that. That was really nice, compared to how I am being treated in the dermatology clinic! He must have shown up at least 5 times in my room, and even put the IUD in. So thankful. But: womens clinic is womens clinic. 😳 I guess everyone is bleeding from something in there! I had to be there at 7.30 am and it took all morning to get me prepared. I had to take a pill that women in labour get, to soften certain parts inside of me. I was prescribed painmeds right away, but I didnt feel anything. They still put the IV in early. Only took them 4 times to get it in. 😉 About 2 1/2 hours, later I was wheeled down to one of the operating rooms. And that was definitly NOT nice. If you have trouble with an obgyn chair be prepared for an obgyn operating table, yikes! Took forever until the anesthesia set in. Woke up about 3 hours later. My doctor said the IUD was extremely hard to put in. Well, no births and no … didnt make it easier. But its in now. 🙂 Got home at 8 pm. Looong day.

I was told to rest for a couple of days, so I went to my general practitioner the next day and got a sick leave for the rest of the week. I also went to the dermatology clinic to get my MTX prescription, no such luck. Apparently no doctor on duty who could start a therapy like this. Oh well.
I did lots of baking last week: biscuits, more brioches, chocolate muffins… 😀

And I finally took up sewing again. Loooooove! âž¡

Plus another pillow and a notebook cozy:

This week was oh so hot! Yesterday we hit 39°c! All that heat and sweat was awful on my skin. 😥 My brother was in the worst mood ever, nothing new there and inline skating in that heat was a pain as well. You really couldnt do anything but sweat and sweat and sweat. 😈
Rewatching Fawlty Towers for like the 100th time improved my mood while browsing the internet for ideas on what to sew next. 🙂 I also ordered new fabrics. Wehee! New colours are always good. 😀
Week 2 was slow, as expected. This week will be more exciting, so I hope. But we will see what life has in store. Make the best of it, whatever it is! Thank you Kala for this, so true:

Lots of love. âž¡ âž¡
