We are having such nice autumn weather lately , that I decided to take Emma for a lovely walk around our Mönchsberg. It was so beautiful! Take a look:

Enjoying your posting marathon! Trees are beautiful…really fantastic pics. Emma must be thrilled to have you home.

Here’s a question for you: what are your shoes of choice on these hikes? (I’m looking for new hiking shoes & was just wondering!)

@Lucy: Trekking shoes Lucy. They are affordable and the best to walk in. Like these. If your ankles need support, you have to get shoes that support the ankles, but if your ankles are fine, these are the ones I would go with. Which ones have you been using?

I had Timberlands low hiking boots but I just threw them out after years…I have some Merrells with ankle support & I find them very uncomfortable…weird ankles in my family! The Keens look good — I was actually looking at them & Vasques last week in the shoe store. Thanks for the advice. I’ll let you know what I get!
