The early bird has risen. 🙂 More than plenty of time for an oh-so interesting new blog entry. Today I am finishing week 2 of my 4 week long vacation. Where did these 2 weeks go? I have no idea. :O
Emma is sure keeping us busy (ok, that´s where the time went!). She is a little biting monster, which is perfectly normal, but ouch! Biting our noses when giving us kisses, chewing on fingers… Puppyhood. When we meet new people on our walks, who love her instantly and want to take her home with them, I am always afraid that she will bite them. 😛 Maybe she should, in some cases. 😀

We are still regularly climbing our favourite mountain. Good for the soul. Sometimes the 1850 meters go so easy and at times its a fight from start to finish. But we always reach the top. I cant get enough of the panorama up there. Mind blowing!

We also had our first sighting of snow. NOT nice. But thankfully its not coming to stay, yet.

Also finally went up to my most favourite reading spot again. The view is absolutely brilliant! Got to talk with 2 quite interesting people, who joined me on my bench. The first was the man who is in charge of the power supply in Salzburg – oh what power he has! – and one was an older man who had so much to tell. I stayed an extra hour just to be able to listen to him a little bit more. I do like talking to the elderly, they have so much to tell!

We here are terribly spoiled by nature. Make sure you check my FlickR stream regularly for all photos. I cant blog them all, but I take plenty.
We also went to Ikea, which I hate, too many families there, always! My bike also had its free 10 week bike service. 10 weeks – almost 1000 km. Brakes had to be fixed. Gears had to be fixed and the back wheel had to be re-centered. Perfectly normal for a brand new bike. I am going to start Halloween crafting this week, weeeehheee! *bounces* We are also going to watch a play this coming week.
Yesterday, I had a lovely visit at my friends flat to visit her little family. She had a baby last year and I only saw her once so far. She is so happy and I am so happy for her that she is at this point. Her little girl is such a source of positive energy and so much love. Two worlds obviously collided here. Mine, which I often consider as over and done with and hers. Something to think about. But as someone said to me you need to fight for your life, too. Her hubby invited me to climb The Dachstein with them next year. He, another work collegue and a retired work collegue are doing the craziest mountain tours regularly. Would be a total honor to be able to join them!
These last few months, as nerve wrecking as they were and still are… they taught me not to put up with every crap that people hand to you. That you, no matter how small ;), can stand up for yourself and fight for what is right. And certainly, that some people have the weakest of personalities. I would love to tell them that to their faces bytheway. 😉 After all this crapload of hospital shit, pardon my language, I can still walk around with my head held up high. I was and am always sticking to the truth, I dont need people that stand infront. I have certainly suffered crazily much and went through the darkest places, but I have also grown. Lifes tribulations. They bring you to a point where you are ready to jump off a cliff. But if you manage to turn around, you might be able to enjoy the view. I could do without challenges for a while now though please.
Second breakfast now. 🙂

Biting?! Ha! Whatever can you mean? Emma looks completely innocent to me, madam! Just look at those little white whiskers!
Wish I had a mountain to climb every time I see your pictures Connie. Beautiful indeed. 😀
