Second Advent

I finally have the first Christmas Cookies of the season in the oven. Nußecken. I wanted to bake lots of cookies this weekend, but nothing hardly ever works out as planned. We did some necessary cleaning, which basically means: letting go of things that are no longer supposed to be here. Step by step. ❗ Grieving is a horribly long and difficult process.

Newspaper rounds on Saturday make the rest of Saturday always very tired. But it brings some needed money in for Christmas shopping. One newspaper round equals about 35 Euros in about 3 hours. Which means I am home by about 8.45 am. And then I sleep until noon. Not sure if this is worth it, But speaking of Christmas shopping….weheeeeeee! Pretty much all finished. We got lots of books! Underwear, socks,… the things we really need but never buy. I also got myself a Funzee, the Wizard One. I was afraid that I couldnt tolerate the Fleece on my skin, but the Fleece they use is amazing. Cant wait for Christmas! I also spent this years Christmas money from the people in my delivery area (which I am in the process of getting) already on a gadget. Me loves gadgets! <3 <3 <3

Speaking of Christmas, I got a present from a nice old Lady in my delivery area, amazing! Since I am almost never getting presents, I was absolutely delighted! And she was happy that I was so happy!

This past workweek was full with work. *duh* And a stupid police control. Didnt think they would stop a postal car, but they sure did. Didnt have my drivers licence with me. So they called in and asked if I do have one, and turned out: nope I dont. So they said they couldnt let me drive anymore, without a licence. Nevermind the postal car packed with mail and parcels. They call in again, this time the answer was, my licence had expired years ago. I had tons of nervous breakdowns of course. 20 minutes later another call in: sorry, mistake in the database, you can go. Without words. 😡 My group leader laughed and said: these things only happen to you. 😕

Met up with Eva and catched up each other. Nothing positive to exchange this time, neither from her nor from me. But Nestroy was decorated absoluted lovely and festive:

The storm that blew over Europe this past week hit us too and threw some postal boxes all over the place! Which brings me on the topic of which idiot left them out there in the first place…

Tomorrow I have to head into the lung outpatient clinic. Absolutely dont want to. Then I have a therapy session that I really want to reschedule… On Tuesday I have another semi presentation in my medieval german seminar. And after that is over, its preparing for my apes in literature presentation the following week.

In between I really want to bake cookies and clean up much more. Emma is doing brilliantly, sitting on our laps all of the time, like right now. She started to drink out of the toilet this week, ugh. Bad habit. Emmas presents were the first that we or better I bought. 😀

Almost a week with no excitement. Have a very good second December week. Make the best of the season! It passes so very fast! Lots of love.
